Take few drops of pure vanilla extract on the cotton swap and apply it on the cold sore for few seconds and repeat this process for the 5-6 times daily. This will not make the virus to cause more infections as well as will help in healing the skin from the sores.

Cold Milk:

Such as valaciclovir . These medications are prescribed mainly in case of severe attacks or for newborn babies.

This treatment also known as photodynamic therapy. In this treatment electric lights is passed inside an infected area and believe me it works well.

How to prevent from spreading?

  1. Do not make skin contact with other people as there are high chances of spreading.
  2. Avoid sharing things, such as towels, lipstick, lip balm, cutlery, etc.
  3. Do not Hug or kiss other people
  4. Do not touch your sores, if you mistakenly touch them immediately wash your hands.
  5. Avoid touching your eyes and genital area as these areas are susceptible to spreading of the virus.
  6. Avoid acidic and spicy foods.
