Take the juice of fresh lemon and apply it on the pimples with the help of cotton balls. Keep it for 15 minutes and then wash the face with water.


Honey can help you in getting rid of the pimples fast. The enzyme present in honey makes the skin clear and pimple free.

What to do:

Take one tablespoon of honey and make the paste of it with the cinnamon. Apply this paste on the area where you feel the pimples. Leave it for overnight and wash the face next morning.


You can get a pimple free skin with the use of garlic. The garlic has the anti-bacterial properties in it which is very helpful in giving you the clear and glowing face

How to use it:

Peel off some fresh leaves of garlic and then mash it well. Have the juice from it. And apply the juice on the pimples. You can use this remedy daily.

Apple cider vinegar:

Baking Soda:

Make a thick paste by mixing 1 tablespoon of backing soda with a little amount of water and few drops of lemon juice. Before applying this mixture wash your face and apply this mixture over your face for few minutes do not leave this mixture for so long time as it may cause irritation and dryness. Wash your face with warm water.

Cold compress:

Ice cubes are very useful to reduce the redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples from your skin. This is also very good agent that increases blood circulation level to the affected area.
What to do: Wrap ice cubes in a cloth and dab this cloth on your pimple for a few second.

Alternative treatments:

Benzoyl Peroxide: This active ingredient kills bacteria and slows down the production of oil.

Salicylic Acid: As you know blackheads and whiteheads responsible to develop pimples so to remove or break down salicylic acid plays an important role. Salicylic acid is effective ingredient to treat inflammation and swelling.

Resorcinol: This is also very effective for the breakdown of blackheads and white heads.

  • Cover your face while moving out because sun exposure may increase inflammation and redness. Always wear scarf or apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher at least 20 minutes before sun exposure.
